Desperation
She wakes from nothingness
wanting to run
Escape her fate
She looks through the windows
warmed with her breath.
The prototype of that place
mastered as one's childhood home
Her last hope her mother,
beside her fast asleep as she cries out in pain
All she does is cry, desperate she is
Even the bygone pain is lesser
than conquering the damages it caused
Wondering the worthlessness of her life
Ending her vexing pain
with the apparatus to ease it
Its inapt as she takes only two,
praying for a peaceful end.
End of it all.
As she lay to endure more and more
intensifying her desire for ultimate prize
which is far but seemingly close.
Her eyes closes to sleep,
recurrent flashbacks of that day
in its completeness,
tears fall from her tender eyes.
